Here is my treasure

Esoteric Allusions are easier than Artless Expressions.

Dark garish winds blow on and on
And far away is a hint of glow
for all i know and all u know
It's what we wished for.. long ago

Do you believe in my insight..?
In warmth of sundried golden hay
does lie the key to all our joy
the dreams of old times and today

Just take my hand and walk along
And don't look back or glance away
our footsteps on the sand across
will leave few marks which just won't stay

So Bother not for now or then
And bother not for the thorny way
Our treasure is so close by now
Look... You n Me 've had our way

Games!!

For all the reasons given to me
for all the games i played to be..
a part of life's puppet show..
it's kind of boring yet insane.
an act of meaning, yet mundane.

For all that matters to the soul,
For all that has a fleeting hold-
on me, on my mind for some time,
is a bleakish fire turning cold

The wilting beauty of these words
The sadness crept in a million hearts
The lives that're lived for someone else,
like sad sweet cries of caged birds.

Life for Rent: Awesome song...my all time favourite......

Here Are the words..

I haven't really ever found a place that I call home
I never stick around quite long enough to make it
I apologize that once again I'm not in love
But it's not as if I mind
that your heart ain't exactly breaking

It's just a thought, only a thought

But if my life is for rent and I don't learn to buy
Well I deserve nothing more than I get
Cos nothing I have is truly mine

I've always thought
that I would love to live by the sea
To travel the world alone
and live my life more simply
I have no idea what's happened to that dream
Cos there's really nothing left here to stop me

It's just a thought, only a thought

But if my life is for rent and I don't learn to buy
Well I deserve nothing more than I get
Cos nothing I have is truly mine

While my heart is a shield and I won't let it down
While I am so afraid to fail so I won't even try
Well how can I say I'm alive

If my life is for rent...

No No Limit...!

Penned down on a surrealistically fantastic night..........or 2 am is morning??
Too gud to waste on slumber....

So why not should i take the plunge,
And why not should you hold me there;
and why not do we race the skies,
and why not shall we jump the heights;
when shining are the stars above,
and rising moon is smiling high;
when lovely is the face of earth...
and chirping swallows pass us by;
when fear's not the name we know,
and there's no burden on free minds...
Then why not shall we touch those stars,
which shine their light in both our eyes!!

Bombay: The Place to be!!

Bombay, the most fun place to be, in India i suppose.
You have got so much to do here, and time runs out:).

Love almost everything about it. The filmstars, theater, fashion, food, and a liberation, that only this city accords.
Though i just coudn't get accustomed to the local trains in the city. Can't tell u how i hate them..and how they stink:(....luckily i haven't had to travel much through that mode:). Commuting indeed is the worst thing about Bombay: Juhu to Fort, which shouldn't be more than 40 minutes normally, may take you about 2.5 hrs in the rush hour by road.I remember how on one unfortunate day,i slept several times in the taxi, trying to while away the time covering that distance, creeping lazily thru the traffic jams.... Phew!!

But here i choose to talk about everything i like in the city.i love most other things about Mumbai...Be it the people, the chaos, or the incessant possibilities to chill out here!
This place is like no other place. It may seem dingy and suffocating in the beginning, but this city grows on you....and gets u to fall in love with it!
The best places to be would be Juhu and Bandra, by me.
Live in Juhu and you'll never get bored! Amazing food joints and restaurants, great theaters and shopping complexes, and a cool crowd. Though expensive, this place has got so much to see and do. You keep bumping into all the Bollywood crowd here.....Cos here's where most of them live:). I Won't ever forget my evenings spent at the Prithvi theater(sipping tea after tea after amazing performances), and the JUHU PVR. Going to the beach at 1 am, and staying there till late, watching the High tides dancing on the shore while having bhel and kulfi.... I mean can we do this anywhere else?....I think not!
And all this makes life so easy here, a free mind in a free place:).
Another thing that never ceases to amaze me is the religious streak in the people here. Long queues infront of famous temples, and all the young crowd frequenting the worship areas, and staying there for hours, is so common.

In total....a not so beautiful city, with beautiful people:)..... a very exciting place...ofcourse....if you are in the right location:)

Here's an ode to my most loved poem of all time....Ode to a Nightingale...By John Keats..

And this is the loveliest stanza from it..

My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains
My sense, as though of hemlock I had drunk,
Or emptied some dull opiate to the drains
One minute past, and Lethe-wards had sunk:
'Tis not through envy of thy happy lot,
But being too happy in thine happiness,
--That thou, light-winged Dryad of the trees
In some melodious plotOf beechen green,
and shadows numberless,
Singest of summer in full-throated ease.

O, for a draught of vintage! that hath been
Cool'd a long age in the deep-delved earth,
Tasting of Flora and the country green,
Dance, and Provençal song, and sunburnt mirth!
O for a beaker full of the warm South,
Full of the true, the blushful Hippocrene,
With beaded bubbles winking at the brim,
And purple-stained mouth;
That I might drink, and leave the world unseen,
And with thee fade away into the forest dim:

And with thee fade away into the forest dim:
Keats wants to flee ...fade away with the Nightingale..who sings so sweetly that he is drawn into a trance of joy and peace...where the real world of pain and loss can't reach him, where the beaded bubbles of sweet wine seep through his veins to drench him in the passion of mirth.
Where love and beauty are forever....and the strained mind doesn't bother.
This is like a waking dream....and Keats suddenly wants to be like that bird...who has no worrries or burdens ....and on her death she will be replaced by another similar nightingale...singing with the same melody..she will fade away...whenever she wishes...as she's not bound by the worldly ties....She's free!

Oracle ADF: How i Love it!!

Life's so smooth just like the cascades of perennial fresh waters flowing and flowing in rich abundance, when suddenly my knack for taking up challenges jolts me out of my stupor once more.......And i land up spending nites and days getting close and comfortable with the very tightly bound Oracle ADF.
That's Oracle Application Development Framework. And i am so amused with it...that i have to write about it..
No wonder it's fun.....Everything about Oracle Fusion Practices is fun.. but then may be i am having just a li'l too much fun these days....LOL!
Just can't wait to take it all by my stride.......It gives us a rich set of AJAX-enabled JSF components and radically simplifies rich internet application development.
The whole concept of a Drag & Drop and a Navigation menu framework, with the hierarchical, layered architectural aspect of the BC4J components thrown in, presents us with the modular business services that can be easily integrated and reused.
Though sometimes these very reusable components leave little scope for creativity.
On this some great Oracle Employee, an Oracle fan and a friend informed a few days back...that his team is all plugged in to make the framework even more challenging, and so-called User-Friendly......(Ofcourse that means that a more inflexible framework is in the making... and a lot more R&D to be done...with lots more twists and turns to be taken by us to achieve our ends.....the Client Requirements)....:-( Wow!!
But we will emerge as winners ofcourse....like always:-)......All thats needed is a pinch of genuine sanguinity
